What is Uterine Prolapse?
Also called Uterine Descensus, Uterine Prolapse occurs when the muscles and tissues around the uterus become weak and no longer provide support. The uterus begins to drop and descend into or out of the vagina. Uterine prolapse is a fairly common condition. You’re at a higher risk of uterine prolapse if you’ve had one or more vaginal deliveries. Uterine Prolapse can be mild or severe depending on how weak the supporting muscles of your uterus have become. As women reach menopause or if there is a family history of uterine prolapse, the risk increases.
"It was desperation that led me to Kim. To say she's changed my life is an understatement. It wasn't long before I started feeling the difference. Now, I can't remember the last time I wore a pair of Depends, and I no longer live in fear of accidents. I won't say that I finally feel like I did before I gave birth, but thanks to Kim, I feel better."
